2025 Non-Homestead Operating Millage Renewal

An Overview

On May 6, 2025, Webberville Community Schools will ask voters to consider a non-homestead operating millage renewal that would allow the district to continue receiving its full revenue per-pupil foundation allowance established by the state. Approval would renew the existing millage for a period of 10 years, generating approximately $1.1 million annually.  These funds are used for essential operating expenses, such as instructional programs, staffing and transportation.

Generally, there is NO COST for owned primary residences. This operating millage is levied ONLY on non-homestead properties, such as businesses, second homes and rentals. If your property was not subject to this tax previously, nothing will change if your property classification has not changed.
