Webberville High School Graduation Requirements

 

To receive a diploma from Webberville High School a student must meet the following criteria:

 

A. All students grades 9-12 are required to enroll in eight blocks each year for four years.

B. Students must have a minimum of 30 credits starting with the class of 2008.

C. Students must meet all Board of Education requirements which consists of:

 

4 credits Language Arts – must take Eng. 9, Eng. 10, Eng. 11, and Eng. 12 or Honors English
3 credits Mathematics
3 credits Science – must take Physical Science or Physics, Biology and a science elective
3 credits Social Studies – must take World Cultures, U.S. History, Government and Economics.
1/2 credit Physical Education (Varsity sport may be substituted)
2 credits Fine Arts
1 credit Computer Literacy
1/2 credit Health

2 credits Foreign Language recommended for college prep.

Three years of Math – including Intermediate Algebra
Three years Social Science
Two years of Biological/Physical Science
Two years of foreign language
Two years of Fine and Performing Arts
