Webberville Women’s Choir performs at State Festival

The Webberville Women’s Choir performed in their first State Choral Festival on Friday, April 29 th. The women’s choir qualified for the state competition by recently achieving a “superior” rating in the Michigan School Vocal Music Association District Choral Festival.

 

Christopher Card , Vocal Music Director, commented, “The women’s choir was very energetic, expressive and artistic with their performance. They learned a lot from performing on a professional stage in a program featuring exceptional choirs. They definitely showed to me and the judges that they belonged at this event!”

 

The choir earned a “II” rating from the judges. Webberville was the only Class D public school at this State Festival site.
