Webberville Library Club book fair a success

 

The Webberville Library Club recently completed a very successful book fair that was held at the high school. The Library Club, an extra-curricular activity that is open to all 7 th – 12 th grade students in Webberville, sponsored the book fair in an effort to raise money to purchase new books for the media center. The book fair was held April 28 th – 30 th and raised a total of $850 of which the Library Club will get to keep 40% of the profits.

 

The book fair was held in the new secondary media center at the high school. The media center, which was part of the completed 2002 projects, was recently opened to the students. Students now have access to a computer lab, resource materials, and various study areas in the media center. Miss Felzke, K-12 Library Media Specialist, would like to thank the staff, students and community members who purchased books and continue to support the many activities that take place in the library.
